Hi. I’m Gina Fiore. I’ve made my living as a gambler (advantage player) for over two decades. I hate saying over two decades because it tells you how old I am but the two decades part assigns me credibility so I’m saying it.
When I say I’ve made my living as a gambler, I mean that I’ve sustained myself on gambling for 23 years. It’s been my job, my livelihood, my lifestyle.
Only in the last few years have I begun to pivot to a career in entertainment, using what I know as a television consultant, MasterClass.com teacher and author.
My first book Advantage Player: A Memoir of Blackjack, Backrooms, and Beginnings is being released on October 27! This Substack is where I’ll share more about the stories in the book — both about advantage play and my personal life.
I’m also one half of Walden v. Fiore, the Supreme Court case that set a landmark precedent on personal jurisdiction after a DEA agent illegally seized my bankroll!
What is Advantage Play?
Advantage play is using math, skill, social engineering, and most of all out-of-the-box thinking to legally beat casino games.
Advantage players play the games that casinos offer better than they do.
On this site I’ll share over twenty years of gambling knowledge — both advanced insights you won’t read in a book, and advice for recreational gamblers.
Gambling is entertainment — I get that. It doesn’t mean you have to make it easy for the casino to win your money.
I’ll be sharing everything from videos of me giving gambling advice to in-depth posts on the world of advantage play, real-life stories of me running out of casinos (there are many), and gambling news.
You will not find another newsletter like this one.
I’ll tell you how to lose less when gambling for fun and I’ll share my advantage play knowledge for professionals and those aspiring to be. What’s the best angle to see a dealer’s hole card? How can you fool the casino into thinking you lost more money than you won?
Advantage play is really just applied math. I’m not a “numbers guy.” I’m an expert on the applied part. That’s what you can expect to learn here.
